Now imagine I post that after every thread I see that mentions the word "mouse", "laptop" or "lemon".
I have gear and i'm not afraid to post it

thanks alot for the feedback.
i realise that we can sometimes get quite overboard with our advertising/replies to threads and can come across as aggressive/irritating/annoying etc. but most times, it is really unintentional.
people do ask questions such as where is ebenex? who sells such and such a pedal, which pedal is good etc. and it is basic customer service for us to answer their questions.
we do ask people occasionally to come down to try the pedals as there are not many places in Singapore where you can try 10 different types of distortions/overdrives etc comfortably in a retail environment without having to feel pressured to buy.
i'm sure most customers who've been to our shop can attest to our friendly and professional service provided.
ultimately, we want consumers to make an informed decision and buy something that they've tried and like.
ebenex music is very excited and enthusiastic to become the no.1 guitar effects and accessories specialist in Southeast Asia and it is inadvertent that this sort of passion can spill over to over-zealous posting on soft.
we are very reasonable people and respect everyone's opinion on soft.
i'll make a conscious effort to minimise our post on every effects related thread.
lastly, i'd like to apologise to everyone on soft who has been irritated/annoyed by our posts.

p.s. james, there is no need to close this thread. i always believe that feedback, whether good or bad is always positive as it allows us to identify mistakes and make the necessary amendments/adjustments or if positive, to keep up what we are doing. there is really nothing to hide.

Correct. I deliberately chose the threads you posted on which nobody asked anything whatsoever about ebenex or the pedals mentioned.
You are a politician plain and simple. You have replied in a i'm-so-nice guy way without answering the hard questions in any way.
The only question I raised is this:
1. Why do you post ad advert on a thread that does not ask anything about ebenex or stock of the effect. Merely mentioning, not even asking about, the Nova delay, you post about having stock of one Nova reverb?
You answered with these:
1. It is unintentional.
2. People ask us questions
3. We invite people to try aforementioned effects
4. We are friendly and professional guys in the shop
5. We want customers to make an informed decision
etc.
So you've said so much whilst carefully avoiding the issue. Very good. Very political.
It annoys me no end to have to filter out your advertisements in between conversations.
PS your PS: James you can close this thread and you can tell me not to disturb your sponsors. No problem, it's your forum and your creation, I respect that. I just will not read through crap in order to have a conversation. They are like pop ups when i'm playing dota.
Mind you, I come to this forum to be inspired, and to inspire and help contribute. I have always tried to be as informative and helpful as I can, though with the occasional humor injected.
If you feel that this behavior is tolerable, or even encouraged, then I guess all I have to say is i'm sorry, i'm young, rash, and hot headed and due to personal preferences I really feel this is not the forum for me.

If you really don't like his posts so much then use the ignore function or just DON'T READ his post. It's not rocket science, ppl. What I've noticed is that SOFT forums have a lot of ppl with "mata merah syndrome" and people who talk the talk but really suck ass at guitar. Some of you are just as guilty of posting off topic crap all the time. Get off your damn high horses.
Seriously, S'poreans will and can find absolutely anything to pick at and bitch about.:roll:
