I am just TOTALLY PISSED OFF with service in Singapore

So very interestingly..I was taking my afternoon siesta and i received a call from city music today...I do believe they got wind of the situation and my discontent .... they were nice enough to get my a toneport ux1....
ofcourse credit MUST be given where its due...so i dropped whatever work i had and immediately went to City Music...and ofcourse there it was....with my name on it :D
I was very happy...and on a better note...I received very professional service....from a gentleman Saiful and a lady Wendy....I was thoroughly impressed and was glad to see that ppl are very capable of this kind of service...
It was great that the shop took my lashing out in a 'positive way' and rectified the situation in a way better than i had expected...
I dont know how much trouble they went to to do all this, but if its any consolation they have won my trust back and I will ofcourse be shopping with them again....

so pathein whatsay...even a little voice can be heard

but still the person involved in the unpleasantness still remain working at the shop right. Why didnt he lost his job! Go for the kill and make sure no others suffer the same. Wont that be the best?

Wanna complain, must die die get most out of it. Dont let the focus shifited once you actually got the gear in hand and they sucking up to you, you forget about how pissed you were

Gotta remember the grievences you had and thus the existance of this post

hehehe...

isnt it too simple that once they cater to us, our views changed? How bout if next time kena pissed off by them again

hehe well if it makes u feel better...i didnt see the guy around and saw two other salespersons who were very nice...

I havent forgotten about what hapened to me at all..hehe....but i am impressed by two things:firstly,my voice got heard and secondly...they rectified the situation...i think for that...a lotta credit to them

ofcourse this debate will start again if anyone received bad service....so i hope city music will keep this in mind and continue to provide top notch customer service.... 8)

hehe, not that it make me feel better if that dude lost his job.

but i just find it funny that sometime when our needs gotten satisfied, we are happy happy joy joy and all the nice words come out but when not satisfied, hehe..

Iam seeing it from the view of human behaviour more than whether having good or bad experience of customer services. That, i find pretty interesting.

So would you suggest that even after they rectified the situation and made things ok I stay pissed based on the fact that I was angry before...???

Man,in that case everyones gotta stay pissed at everything....

Its a simple equation...provide good service and keep the customer happy....dont and u piss the hell outta him....

Now the human trait of anger that cannot be appeased..THATs interesting

nah, dont have to be pissed, even from the start when you didnt have good service :D

it gotten me thinking that good customer service only exist when individual received it. Even thou the same sales person can satisfied 100 customers a day, but offend 1 customer. And that one customer go on to say about the bad service. Will we see it as no sense of customer service for that 1 offended customer or that we can see it as his/her off day since there are 100 satisfied customer.

as of writing this, iam also reflecting on myself whether will i feel the same way as you do or just keep quiet online but going straight to them for the kill.

Afterall, its been quite a long long time since i even step in shop to buy anything

i dont have much anger, but plenty of ponders on human behaviour

Whoa man now you are getting into a whole other region of of Customer Service....the whole relationship between a salesperson and a client solely depends upon service...whether its a 10$ item or even at an Investment Bank or GWM where they r investing 20 million...the JOB of the salesman is to provide 'service' which is not a prerequisite but a manifestation of goodwill...however incorrect service is wrong to the extent of legal implications.....and at the very least a voice is required....After all,its your right to not to be discriminated against....
after you spearheaded the movement to take a step forward...or in other words..KILL KILL..,I am surprised that you changed your stance on whether one should be angry or not...after all...It was ME who received the benefits of shouting out

hehe, do i complicate or sound more like no knowing what iam talking about..

I have to apologize to you.

The kill kill stance is my way of seeing how you will react to it coz i find it interesting to see how people will react after posting the bad experience and having someone at the side poking into it.

Hehe, iam not bad, but i like to go with the flow and see how it will turn out and in another way, to see will it actually make it seem like the problem actually not much of a problem afterall and how we react to it.

:D

the difference would be....you read what I wrote...I was the one who wrote it...passing judgement on human behaviour is very different from experiencing the very same thing

might just be me...but analysis of virtual personalities is generally not found to be as conclusive as actual human interaction....

As far as I am concerned...talking with the sales people at City hadnt helped me in the past and I shared my opinions on..interestingly..a forum  ...all snide remarks aside....i appreciate that they made an effort to correct their mistake....it is an indication that they hold my views as a customer in regard....whether it was because it was bad publicity or not is of no concern to me...but i am not the kind of person who holds a grudge against someone if they make amends.....and i wouldnt feel right about asking for ..say an AC30 to help me forget my 'emotional trauma'....as i said its an equation...when it balances out everyones happy...

for now....

I'm glad I made myself heard than be just another middle class musician who went back to his dorm room unsatisfied

heh, i agree with what you wrote, the lengthy one.

only thing is the last point on mid class musician going back to dorm not satisfied. Does he/she have internet connection

haha, as long it turn out fine in the end.

Wondering the last time, if next time you encounter something like that again, will you post online again, looking for changes or going straight to them?

well in my case...I thought that the forum was the only way to vent my frustration....and that nothing more would come of this...but it has proven to be a stronger force than speaking at the store..however next time i will definitely try to first goto the management right then and there.....

but i dont think i will post again unless there is some blasphemous injustice done......

I guess I am happy now..City music should be a lil easier set in their chairs...and I hope a lot of people will see that asking for your RIGHTS is something one must atleast try....whether in the shop or on a forum.....

Kid_slacker: as u can see the situation has been rectified..and no it is not generalised...i am still maintaining my stand that singapore needs to learn a lot when it comes to customer service..and the example i stated was just one...

if u read on u will find a lot more

gotcha bluey..

btw..i prefer to be left alone when browsing in a shop..and testing guitars..

well..

heh..it doesnt take much to make me happy...

seek and we shall find!

oh, lets find some people from the shops and start a thread on lousy customers. This one sure hot

Lets listen from the other side
