any tips? i'm going off in a few hours. my friend rammed a golf cart into my brand new honda civic yesterday by accident (he was drunk). its ****ing retarded i know damn sad now

my friend was trying to do reverse parking with a golf cart (the ones thhose secu use) beside my car! and i told him to stay far away from the car to as he also no license and his only skill is playing guitar. then i went to the boot and heard "Boom! oh ***sorry" . wtf my clearcoat red paint and rims all gone la damn now.

will be posting on a car forum instead i guess thanks anyway

Yea it was quite fun. the cart was turned on and we decided to use it to tour around our polytechnic during night camp lol.

(1) Can you claim insurance here - I guess no from your friends side.

(2) Is your friend paying you for the damages, or are you coughing it out from your own pocket for the repair.

(3) Either way - Yours is a New Car and New Car Owners (heart will be very painful in his case-it's you) - - -and New Car Owners will want it repaired using GENUINE HONDA BODY PARTS....not those cheaper Substitute Body Parts (if any available in the market though these will be New Parts from Taiwan)...I have the sources here.


PS; - My company is in the parts Business (a Merchant of Toyota Club Singapore), cause I'm specialising in Toyota Genuine Auto Spares, meaning I don't do Honda.....some Mitsubishi Parts and we're majoring in Mercedes Parts...But I can help you here with contacts and cheaper better parts pricing through all my friends in the Local Automotive Components Market.

If the damage is only superficial, perhaps you could just ignore the eyesore and live on?

Replacing/repainting could cost quite a bit, since you can't claim insurance.
