how to keep stratocaster in tune after whamming?

so guys how do i keep my stratocaster in tune after using the whamy bar?im using a traditional 6 saddle bridge(not a 2 point bridge with 3 springs at the back)will just stretching the strings do?

I just remembered something. What string gauge are you using? What did the guitar come with?

Timbre Strat?

Might want to consider upgrading a more... well... a better guitar than the Timbre.

Unless you are sure that what you have there is a gem of a guitar... which is unlikely.

oh its a timbre strat.and for strats i usually use 9 to 42

9 to 42? I assume the guitar ALSO came with 9 to 42? If so, then should be ok. But bring it to a luthier to check the nut... Might not have been slotted correctly.

P.S. What's Timbre Guitars?

geez.... i'm hurt... i gave a perfectly usable solution and all we are doing is to discuss about the brand of the guitar.

thread starter... have you done anything yet? :x

But note, despite being a "low-end" brand, some of the softies say it rivals even MIM strats.

So?

Guitars are finicky things. Put the best woods together... and you might have a terrific sound.

some claim their MIM strat better than MIA leh... okay lor. Sure.

I upgraded the parts on my Squier Standard Strat with a Wilkinson EZ-LOK tuners n Wilkinson vintage trem bridge. Lubricating the nuts help too. Stays in tune pretty well after whamming, just tat u can`t do those floyd rose dive bombs haha :)

Hmmm.. I don't do anything with my guitar..

But it seems to stay in tune pretty much..

I don't WANK that often lah.. but when I do it comes back in tune... Hmmm.
