How about 'Quick Reply'?

I was at sixstringheaven, and the quick reply function at the bottom of the thread impressed me.

I thought it was pretty convenient, and it makes thing much faster.

I don't know anything forum programming etc, but I'd love to have a quick reply function here on SOFT.

Yes, I agree...Quick Replies are far more convenient than to have a page loaded to reply...

i don't think the default system comes with a quick reply function for phpBB... but there are ppl who have come out with mods to change the system abit here and there... i found a mod for quick reply on the phpBB official forum... maybe it might help... http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=230887&highlight=quick+reply

As soft is based on Phpnuke, perhaps looking into phpnuke hacks would be more correct? This portion, I am not too sure...

hmm... but i believe this forum's server is pretty fast, there's practically no waiting time 4 e page 2 load... but still, e quick reply thing does make stuff more convienient.
