hi,i am quite new in the music scene. My guitar just got spoilt due to some reasons. not entirely damaged just bridge and tone problem as well as input jack's hisses. I would like to know if anyone can recommand me a good and non-overcharging guitar repairman or shop with good reputations? hopefully not those who took out some inner parts of my guitar and replace it with theirs etc. Appreciate if anyone can help guide.thx

ok Beez is one of them,SV who should i look for in specific?

How about any repairmen close to the central? i stay in Outram park

oh ok,those Davis nearby stretch of music shops.Thx, but of all of them whose service is most affordable? as in not too ex? sorry, still a student...

maybe u wanna try it yourself?

Whats the problem with the Bridge and tone ?
also what guitar is this.

ah i know sv

Ya been to SV once. just behind the POSB at the old checkpoint right? always pass by when i took the bus from & to malaysia

servicing price does not vary much, but the quality of work might. you want to solve your problem. if a poor job means that the problem doesn't go away, it is not worth any amount in savings.

in peninsula area, i would go to maestro/zen for repair work. they have long lead times sometimes, so i think TYMC could do it where electronics are concerned.

thats my preference. if not i would go to another area, probably beez.

I hope I have not opened a can of worms here. There are about 3 popular techs in town:

in alphabetical order
Beez
KC (Maestro)
Mike (Standard Value)

Are their workmanship comparable (same level?) in terms of setting up your gear?

I shan't compare them, but I'll say that their workmanship is VERY decent and their reputations are well-deserved.
