Help!!! Which guitar is better for metal???

Im considering to get a new guitar for playing Death metal , such as As i lay dying, ALl that remain, parkway drive, bullet for my vallentine ... and I got a lot recommends in internet, but still duno know which one is better:(, so here's my list, please give some suggestions, thanx:smile:!!! ( and the price I can give is about 750 S$ cos Im very poor :(..)

1) Washburn X30 (saw it in 77 guitar shop, about 750 $ , but the pickups is not EMG and made in indonesia ,especially can not find in the washburn's websites...)

2) Schecter C 1 (many people said its better than washburn X , but I never tried before, duno the sounds cos I wanna very heavy and powerful )

3) LTD MH 401 ( which made in china, and pickups pretty attractive which is EMG 81/85 .. but Im very doubt the material , cos its from china.. some from indonesia is not bad )


so thats it, if you have more better brands, please tell me, and notice that I only can afford about 750S$ thanx! :smile:)
 
None of those bands are death metal :S But I still recommend the Schecter, not being a big fan of LTDs. (Can't speak for the Washburn, not having tried it). You'll find many others in this forum who can vouch for the quality of a C-1. :)
 
I think it just depends on yourself and how you play the guitar. I play the same genre of metal that you do but i'm using a epiphone les paul custom and I can get the heavy tone by just tweaking the effect pedal. So to me its the player that matter not the guitar. but among the 3 choices i will ask you to go for the LTD one. Just practice hard and along with time you will know that a lot of things depends on the player itself.
 
just because it's made in China, doesn't mean it would sound bad. go try out these guitars in person rather than stare at them on the internet. it would help you make you decision alot better

haha, the bands you mentioned aren't Death Metal btw. most of them are Metalcore

which is not even metal. Jus to let u know . No Offence. :)
I suggest u try them out one by one and see which one is your favourite.But i think the ltd will do fine

hahha, none taken. and yea, i think the LTD would suit you due to the EMG's. perfect for Metalcore

Hey HiFi, you should try calling Sound Alchemy, I was just there a few days ago, they're selling the X30 for $599! You'll still have spare change for a couple of pedals!
 
^Correction, you can get an Eclipse I from Davis for $1650. PureNoise is still, to put it politely, a willynilly. =)

ESP for heavy - Metal

I think what guitar you get should be base on the feel you have for the guitar...don't go getting a guitar like lets say for example a jackson V jsut because many metal artist uses it. or a guitar with emg's just because many other artist uses it to play metal and whatsoever. A good guitar dosent mean a good player right? go around trying guitars and test each guitar tone and feel. you're bound to find something you like.
