What's your most trusted and fav brand of strings and why? I am just seeking peoples' opinions so that i will know what to get and what not to get next time. Thanks!

Before EH released their strings i was using DRs. After that I used EH for obvious reasons cos I'm the dealer and I can get strings at dealer price.

Nowadays I'm going back to DRs just cos I miss that DR sound. ZINGGGGG!

Hmm Martin's Darco for both Acoustic and Electric guitars. Its value for me... since I'm just a student. The sound and the sustain alright...

The fact that i'm attracted to DRs in the first place is that those strings last longer than any other non coated strings.

Dean Markley's nickelsteel currently...would like to try GHS Boomers or Super Slinky's someday though...

DRs last the longest for me too, and they sound very nice. Also has a slinky-er feel than GHS/Daddarios which I prefer.

DRs man. Titefit, 9 - 42.

actually, i'm thinking of getting a tremol-no for one of my guitar, set to dive only mode then change to .13 guage to see how it sounds.

Just shaped the neck pocket of my guitar for better upper frets access. Yet to drill new holes. :twisted:

Do they sell .13?

got to tighten? What if the neck doesn't bow, still require tightening?

If floyd rose locking nut? no need to enlarge?

Have you tried .13 before?

its a one piece maple, will .13 break that neck?
