Guitar-Selection SOS!

I'm planning to get my last electric guitar in the years to come and I've already thought of the type of guitar i want. The problem is, i can't find any on the net that suits what i want, and so i decided to ask you guys. So, here it is:

My ideal guitar is preferably...

>Smaller in size - *If possible* (I'm 15, and 1.65m tall. so i guess a smaller guitar would fit my image better.)

>Light, comfortable, thin. (I love it like this!)

>Floyd Rose. (And a GOOD one.)

... well yeah, just these 3 "criteria". Any brand would do, and i dun mind splurging any amount of money on the guitar as long as it's near these "criteria". I play instrumental rock like Canon Rock (Just finished the piece a few weeks ago, phew!), so please dun suggest a Gibson or somewhere near that. :)

So, i guess that should be all. Thanks, in advance, to everyone who help me. And it'd be even better if there's also a link to the guitar's webpage or something. Thanks! :D

Rock on!

he said no Gibson's or anywhere near that.. Suhr is like boutique man!
hmm.. I think an Ibanez RG suits you.. How about an RG350EX or something..

RG350 is too cheeep lar. :D

Eh? Height relates to budget meh?

Hehehe... sorry, I had to pick this out... :)

lol no la , just pointing out that maybe we feel the same way abt some guitars ah lol . but nearly all the guitars i tried is alright wad lol , none too big . but a 50's neck LP is huge .

but like the threadstarter said , good trem ( OFR , Edge , Gotoh , Schaller (Common good ones)
thin neck ( Ibanez Wizard , Jackson ) .

Hehehe.

Anyway, size... i mean, you got to be really really tiny to have serious issues with a stadnard sized guitar. There are players who have small hands, short fingers, 3 usable 2 burnt off fingers, and they have no issues playing the guitar well... or becoming legends.

Maybe the size thing is an un-necessary notion?

And why can't a Gibson do Canon Rock? Or instrumental rock? Or metal?

You can save abit and get a good Ibanez S-series or RG.

If you really have the dough...
Then ofcourse a Suhr will be very nice to have.

i think u shud get a s/rg priestege or any ibanez signature models. schecters are not bad too.maybe u can get a bc rich nj series guitar. but the best now according to ur description i think is the s series. they haf zr trem n priestege n also their body are really thin

An Ibanez S series will suit you nicely.

A small and light body, cut thin around the edges of body, but still thick at the core of the body, using mahogany. H-S-H configurations with contoured heel for easy access to upper frets. Zero Resistance Tremolo, which is a floyd rose that uses ballbearings and is bolted to the body for more sustain. I had the same requirements for a guitar as you, and i got a S470QMBLMB in the end. Definately the guitar i wanted. :)

Should be for you too....

i concur with the suggestions in here. but if you have the money to spend, go for the old MIJ rg's. newer ones just donch have the MOJO

besides, instead of suhr, why not a vigier, or a caparison?
and if height= budget, gilbert's one must be lovelovelovelovelovelovelove huge.
and if dio played guitar, his budget would be like pocket money.
