the t.c polytune is better!! you dont have to plug in to tune your guitar. i got mine for free cause it was within the first 250 000 downloads. it costs 9.90 US now!
 
Iphone cheap. $98 with upgrade plan and contract. Tuner far more expensive...

The strobe tuner works without an interface as well. The polytune is a good quick and dirty tuner, but the strobe tuner app will realy show you if they are in tune.

Get both lah...
 
Wow, the software looks interesting. Is the Irig adapter available in our local store. Would like to try it. Anyone in this forum tried it?
 
the connector between the geetar and iphone, will need its own adaptor to address the impedance mismatch issue before the signal can get to the right level and into the application.

if just using the normal converter, the signal will be pretty dull/lifeless/soft sounding. Just like connecting a geetar into line in devices(kaoss pad or computer line in)

Just try to do a search on the impedance mismatch issues between geetar/iphone/line in as the keyword, theres quite a number discussions on the issue elsewhere.
