Whoa!
I saw gene simmons today.
I was waiting for my wife to knock off from work outside arts house then low and behold!
The man himself! He got off a private mini bus. He was parading in front of my vehicle talking to some of the event staff.
Felt so star struck. Seeing a rock icon in raw.
later I told my wife that i saw gene simmons
Me: OMFG! I JUST SAW GENE SIMMONS!!
Wife: Huh? Who?

I was there for the event and manage to get an autograph on my "detroit rock city" DVD (The move he produced with Berry Levine).
When I wanted to take a picture, he said "son, my business with you is over". So no picture for me.
Whatever you say, rock god, whatever you say...
Sure, he's a rock god. But still, he remains and as a mortal and made of flesh and blood. There will be the day that we'd be so f**king famous that, Simmon's decentdants will be asking for OUR Autographs! Just you wait!
It was a good night though; I had a ball of a time with all the free booze and hot chics in costumes.

Regardless, you have my sympathies. Gene Simmons isn't exactly known for his humility, I'll bet.
Not to rub it in, but perhaps a photo may have been worth more to you personally compared to getting something autographed? You could, after all, buy something with his signature on eBay. But you may never get another photo op with Gene Simmons. (Or maybe you will. WTF is he doing in Singapore "on business", anyway?)

edmund, boss of stormlion introduced me and my vocalist Dewi Marie to him personally. Ed mentioned me and Dewi are in a band. hahaha

I am fan of KISS as a band, their music and the movie "Detroit Rock City" but not Gene Simmons. Yeah, it'd be cool to have a photo with him; but I am sure I can live without.
I took a shot with Berry Levine and he signed on the DVD sleeves as well; with special note with my name on it too. Now, that means a lot.
About us being really famous while the decendants of Simmons family will rush up for our autographs? haha..wishful thinking surely, but we can always dream and work towards it!

haha. i took that comment with a smile. He can say whatever he want man. I understand English perfectly, so I left it there.
At least I got what I wanted (i.e. the signature on my DVD sleeves), so yeah, I can't complaint.
