Found a Squier Tele off a Softie here for about $220. Came with a painted headstock and a black pickguard. I swapped out the pickups, electronics and the hardware to to the following specs:

David Allen Fat Cats
CTS 250k audio taper pots
Fender 4 way switch
Switchcraft jack
0.022 Ceramic caps
Proel Modern Tele Bridge and Control Plate
Tusq nut
Gotoh Tuners

Sanded down the neck to a nice satin texture.
Also swapped out the pickguard and replaced it with a neck pickup mounting ring so it looks more sleek like an aerodyne.

Also had to give the frets some levelling and dressing.

It's my first build and I have to say im pretty pleased with the resuled!

Remember how I posted a few months back that I needed a space-saving setup? It was made all the more crucial recently due to a family situation. So my Egnater Tweaker stack, effects and Eleven rack were all sold, and now my setup is just this:

An Axe FX Ultra into two Yamaha HS80M monitor speakers snugly placed in my vertical media shelf in my bedroom. Sold all my guitars except for my Gibby LP Classic Plus, and looking for one more versatile axe to cover everything else.

What Sub said is actually true, I've got 7 guitars, 5 of them Les pauls, the other 2 are H-S-H configuration, really miss those single coils tone, hoping to trade for 1 soon.

My mayones finally arrived today.. thought i'd do them justice and share a pic of it with you guys since this brand is quite unknown in our shores. I have been molesting it for the past 6 hours and i still can't put it down! It is definitely one of the highest quality guitars i ever tried!

when i started playing guitars, i held gibbys and fenders with much respect.. so much so that i don't even dare touch them whenever i had the chance to go to Swee Lee..

Fast forward 13 years, my humble pay now allows me to fork out the cash for one.. I got this off a fellow softie on Saturday, and hence thought i'd share the joy..

Soon i'll be switching those pups to probably BareKnuckle mules.. already made the switch to Apaches on the neck and mid pup of my pacifica..
