Hello strat-maniacs
other than fender, any other brand/s of strat (or strat-copy, whichever way u prefer to call) worth buying? any recommendations? (3 single-coils config only)

fender headstock too boring, anyway i already got one. I'm looking for another strat, non-fender. trying to look more unique hehe...

thanks!

i just played this ash-bodied G&L Tribute Legacy Premium which is above average to say the least

I've owned one of those lawsuits Fernandes Tele. Plays good feels good. Think its the "Revival" series. Fernandes make pretty ok guitars.

the Fender John5 guitar has been here for about 2mths already, the Katana isn't new but it's nevertheless new to some of us 8)

Cort Katana KX-1, List: $600

The katana really bears a striking resemblance to Neil Zaza's NZS-1. Maybe he did derive his signature model based on this.

Yea, i've seen and tried the katana at MFO. Right at the back of the store where the cort's are. Really nice and affordable.

yes bro. the Katana is the base reference for Neil Zaza's signature model but his feature a different body wood + Seymour Duncan pickups. 8)

Does swee lee sell the Cort Katana?? :D

the bras basah showroom has it too. tried it a few days ago, it's one heck of a guitar. i've no qualms in recommending the Katana & the M200/ 500 to players looking for a well playing/ good sounding guitar without breaking the piggy. 8)
