hahahahhha... yes, they've always have 40% discount for all their roland/boss stuff actually. no kidding... i saw their edirol recording stuff there too. they are under the roland/boss family too. dunno if it is 40% discount too tho...

ah, that's good to know. because a $100 BOSS pedal will be $60 all the time- something we can always look forward to. for those interested in the GT-8, maybe now's the time to consider...

if you bargain long enough sometimes they might not charge GST lol :lol:

at least that's what I did, but I was at the Sims Drive branch, the people there are cool... I met the boss too haha, and the drum specialist is my neighbour (though my mom quarrelled with him before :oops:)
 
Chorus/Flanger Pedal

Hi,
any good recommendation of Analog Chorus and Flanger stompboxes?

The Ibanez CF-7 (2 in 1 Chorus/Flanger pedal) seem really value for money, anyone used it before to comment of it?

i've tried that one- it's definitely value-for-$$ since it's 2-in-one pedal 8) the chorus tones are lush, one of the best at this price tag.

+1. it makes the dd3 sound much better and much less digital feeling when it's after the dd3. excellent stuff... just a tad bit noisy.
 
yah, get a 2nd hand one. Boss effects are usually bomb proof (usually - not always :)). so it should still last. i had mine for about 8 years. still in perfect condition.
