yes bro. the Katana is the base reference for Neil Zaza's signature model but his feature a different body wood + Seymour Duncan pickups.

the nzs1 features basswood body, with quilted maple top, maple neck and ebony fretsbrd. p/us are sd custom custom (b) and 59 .

the katana have mahagony body and neck w/ rosewd fingerbd. and their housebrand p/us. the flame top is just veneer tho', so, there will be no effect on the sound, its just for looks only.

Is this in stock at any of the Swee Lees? They used to have only the AR3000 at the Bras Basah branch.

these days, it's about good construction, not about country of origin. the Chinese Ibanez Artcore models are fantastic, so are the Korean Ibanez SZ series.

8O But I bought my Cube 30 on a normal day, no sale or anything, it was also 40% off... Hmm maybe they were having a Roland/Boss promotion because I heard them say when I was trying it that there was a 40% discount on all Roland/Boss products
