amPlug is a headphone guitar amp that can fit in the palm of your hand. Just plug it into your guitar, put on your headphones, and start enjoying serious guitar tones with amazing presence. You can choose from three types of sound. There's the aptly named "AC30" which gives you the top boost sound of a vintage VOX AC30, "Classic Rock" which delivers the classic high gain sound of a UK-manufactured 100W amp, and "Metal" which produces the aggressively powerful metal sound of a US-made amp. With these three different amplug products to choose from, you can start enjoying whatever guitar sound suits your mood for today.

amPlug simulates the circuitry of a vacuum tube amp completely in analog. The result is superior headphone amp tone for the players who are particular about their sound
With its completely analog design, great care was also taken with amPlug's gain circuitry. The "AC30" uses two natural-sounding gain stages to reproduce the distinctive AC30 tone. "Classic Rock" uses four classical gain circuits to deliver that great sound. "Metal" uses two stages of ultra-high gain plus a mid-cut circuit, giving you modern metal high-gain sound anywhere and anytime. Even the circuit response of the original amp is simulated completely. The simulation extends not only to the response of the tone circuits, but also to the way in which the high frequency and gain are affected when you turn down the volume control of the guitar. Every detail has been faithfully reproduced.

Introducing The Barber Trifecta

Trifecta_final_index.jpg

This one is for classic fuzz freaks and newcomers alike. The Barber Trifecta employs a three way toggle switch to seamlessly navigate three classic vintage fuzz circuits producing a plethora of tones from trippy to squishy, through heavy and beyond. The newly minted Barber exclusive "Sludge" control allows players to easily dial in the Trifecta to work perfectly with all types of pickups (humbuckers, single coils even active!). The Sludge control is a pre-fuzz bass control circuit to allow you to adjust exactly how much bass gets pushed through the fuzz circuit. The Trifecta's variable tone control is also a push/pull type switch which lets you go from classic scooped to “boutique” strong fundamental flat style EQ.

The Trifecta’s classic three fuzz circuits are based off of the triangle style pi sound, the Jumbo Bender style and the Suppa Bender style with our boutique mods/magic and superior build quality. These three classic circuits all were very close except for clipping sections (fuzzy stuff) being omitted or added, so we figured, why not make it a Trippy Fuzz party and give the players all three for the price of one!

Finally your vintage Fuzz sounds have TOO MUCH CONTROL! (in a good way)

ONLY US$149.95

Powered by standard 9 volt - tip supplies, or battery (not included).

PS Zakk, I like the look of those Bluenote guitars you posted earlier, any chance you bringing them in?

Taylor to launch electric guitar model

Taylor Guitars announces it will introduce a solid body electric guitar.

"Our new solid body electrics are a completely original design," Bob Taylor enthuses. "About a year ago, we were working on some humbuckers for a new T5. These pickups sounded so great, we looked up and said, 'Hey, we're in the electric guitar business now!' And instead of keeping them for the T5, we began designing an entirely new guitar, full of touches that are purely Taylor.

"The neck and body shape are all our own," Bob elaborates. "Our aluminum bridge is just beautiful—it feels like a luxury watch band; it's invisible to the player, yet it's fully adjustable and loaded with performance features. We developed a new concept of insetting the top with exotic woods, which gives us the look of a bound guitar, with the comfort of a contoured body.

"We literally designed every part of this guitar ourselves, right down to the knobs!"

The Taylor solid body electric will be available in three models: Classic, Standard and Custom. Each guitar has the new Taylor Humbuckers (there will be a choice of two styles, full or 3/4-size).

The public can see, hear and play the Taylor electric solid body during Taylor Road Shows being held at select dealerships in September and October. A limited number of pre-production models will be for sale this fall, with the major launch in January 2008
