gsonique:Adam Jones will grab that silver burst :D

HAHA!! an SG on him? thats gonna feel really weird as it neck dives...he cnt stand around like a statue anymore..

actually the reason why the SG neck dives is due to the position of the neck strap button.
thats why iommi moves his to the upper horn.
you can also prevent it somewhat by using a good strap.
my '74 standard doesnt neck dive tho, and its definitely way heavier than current standards.
the wolfmother guy uses a similar model, he looks like he doesnt have a prob :P

He's got a couple of SGs as well which he used on the clean parts of 'Lateralis' or so I read lah...

But the Silverburst must fade to a slimy green then gotch mojo!!!

yeah i drilled a hole like tony iommi into my SG (copy)...it doesnt neck dive that bad...but it does go horizontal when i'm not playing..still,i guess i'm quite used to it already.

and Andrew (wolfmother)...does seem like he doesnt have a prob with his SG..maybe coz he wears it high? or maybe coz he never lets go of the neck...

no, the wolfmother guy has a 70s SG too.
those dont neck dive due to the much heavier body weight, i have a '74.
i believe he uses a '73.
the same also applies to LP's from the early 70s, way way heavy, guess the mahagony then was much denser than it was before.

when i put on the '89 i got, neck dive like hell.
same with newer SG's i've tried.

The new visualsound pedals look hot. ON FIRE!

Great work man. haha. i love em. They look much better than those old dull boring cases!

Hopefully, no price increase

dude.. If you like the silver burst SG, check out the trans black SG supreme at GC. That one is really a beauty.

Fender has released a small all-tube Champion 600, giving Ibanez & Peavey a run for their offerings... hope this makes it here.

Erm... cable ties and duct tape for the handle?? ha..haha...

The Peavey Windsor studio looks attractive for a small, versatile bedroom tube amp, with built-in attenuator, spring reverb, 12" speaker, additional speaker outs, switchable impedance, effects loop, XLR rec out, footswitches for boost and effects loop, etc... Ooo...
