Gave in to temptation and gambled on a Belcat delay yesterday.
Tried the delay the day before and thought it sounded quite good, very simple no hiss no noise no volume boosts when engaged.
Did a research on the company and it was a China company so was a lil hesitant but googled a lil bit more and reviews made me just wanna give it a go and gamble on it, and I did.

Apparently these pedals are called Crossfire in Aussie and I was recommended by one of the softies to the crossfire delay as a cheap unit.
Only thing thats been in question is the toggle switch. As quoted from HC reviews:
The foot switch looks heavy duty on the outside, but on the inside it just depresses a little plunger type stick that pushes a button mounted on the board. Similar to the membrane buttons on a cell phone's board. So replacing with a true bypass switch isn't do-able as a drop and solder job (if do-able at all, I have no experience working with PC boards).
