gargamelesp, the Paf Pro/TZ combos a gd balanced smooth sounding pair...i believe both are moderately high output, the TZ's got big mids & bass response but the cleans are rather dull...the Paf Pro's great for clean & smooth lead work...

Shredcow, yeah..been lookin' to get a "shred" guitar(24frets, floating bridge) kinda miss my RG550 which was sold some yrs back...really dig the unfinished neck, very smooth....but the trem's kinda stiff compared to my old edge(RG550) & Kahler(which i've removed from the LP)...

Seems like you got rid of the strings as well...

its called laziness to put on new strings yet.
have to re-setup that and my LP which was just sent for recrowning of frets.
