What would u suggest for a heavy distortion (not compromising clarity) pedal?

hey man ... the jekyl and hyde is perfect for that man .... make full use of the TONE knob on the pedal.

i found something missing in that pedal but heavier stuff e.g. metal?

the modeller. well technically it's my bro's but i'm using it now. not a big fan of it though. only like the rectifier modeller.

yep. mee too. the rectifier one is the only convincing model la. other than that i just use it as a cabinet modulator (like the line 6 amp modulator). does quite a good job XD

can do metal la... really. try lowering the gain and playing harder. will give you a tighter dist chug. experiment alil more with the tone/eq controls. leave the flip switch on Blunt though ... the sharp setting is retarded...

I hope you are not expecting Mesa Boogie Dual Rect with this and your toneblaster....

I couldn't agree more. I did all I could, still not satisfied, but its gre8 pedal :)

Can use for church service hehe. Thanks so much.

Explore it more man... the TRI AC is one GOOD piece of analog modelling. You get a heck of a lot of tweakability, at the cost of less user friendliness. Don't expect spectacular tones in 1 week, think 2 weeks or more of tweaking. ;)

But its worth it ... The Sansamps have some of the best drive tones.
