vote for Hear Me, River of Love & Rescuing Rukia.both roxs.definitely proves tt its better den those vocal music albums!!

bought this album 2 days ago frm gf's recommendation (asked her if i can burn a copy from the one she bought and kena scolding... :P).

i vote for DEEPLY UNCOMMON AND PURPLE. the cantonese voice adds an otherworldly feel to the track. VERY UNCOMMON indeed.

great album.

High quality Music

Invasion

An amazing song, will never get bore of it, it gets better after reading http://roslimansor.com/story.html. Finally get to understand that the last part was actually a lady seeing the last of her, when the door of life shut with a slam! Follow by her screaming of fear.

There is also alot more to understand from the drawing of dragged.

Attended Roslimansor Cd launch, the live sound is incredibly great!
Rosli is definitely a great musician to look forward to, worth our support!

I vote for Deeply Uncommon.. that's the only track that (no pun intended) struck a chord within me when I first heard it. I'm just wondering what the person speaking in cantonese is saying. Erm.. still re-listening to the album so will be a while before I can name any other favourites.

Ok, i've been listening to the whole album three times at work today (4, including the trip to work on the mrt) and I must say all the tracks are great. Current favourites are:

1. Deeply Uncommon (still my no. 1 fav)
2. Farewell September, Pizzas and Sparklers (the voice intro just tears me up..)
3. Rescuing Rukia (really nice song to chill out to and the melody is damn catchy)

I love the rest of the tracks too.. every track has its own feel and space. Never regretted buying this!

Can Rosli explain what Track No. 1 was all about? I only understand Hokkien!

Anyway, I had a listen and must say there's seriously some good stuff going on there. Nice ideas with overall good mature playing. Very mat rock, and the Satriani influence is obvious!

Technically there are very noticeable flaws in his chops as well as the overall sound engineering, but this is an album that deserves credit for 'taking the plunge'.

I don't have a personal favourite for this album, it's generally listenable but there's not really any particular track that caught my ear.

Nice work, Rosli!

:)

rock on

hei.. guys..rescuing rukia are superb!!
a friend of mine just bought the cd and repeat rescuing rukia all the time..
and he say went ever he listen to rescuing rukai he wanna cry or want to be in the tracks..!!

got the CD from the man himself toiday...hahaha..

gotta say..my fav tracks will be invasion and seeking flaws...more dark side in the album...but i really enjoyed the whole album and its in replay mode in my hi-fi...hahaha

I voted for Dragged cause its the title track of the album and cause it stands out the most. I feel the song showcases wat Rosli was going through when he wrote that song. The song also has great backing riffs and melody lines, thus making it my fave song on the album.

I loved all tracks in Rosli Mansor's album, Dragged. I give an extra +1 for Rescuing Rukia since I voted it the best track.. It's jazzy... COol... :supz:

Farewell September Pizzas and Sparklers

"Turning round the CD and your eyes scroll down the list when you stopped at the last track. Saying goodbye to September, pizzas and sparklers? You start to rack your brain to find the associations for these three words but soon after you just let the thought slip out of your mind..."
