Opeth - Watershed

Watershed was my pick for best of the year until I heard Portishead's album. But I still think their previous album Ghost Reveries was a tad better.

Other great stuff I have listened to this year are Pig Destroyer's Phantom Limb and Nas's self-titled.

And maybe to go slightly off-track, most disappointing albums I heard this year were

Fortress by Protest the Hero - Not bad, but after the hype I expected more. I got bored very quickly with the endless wankfest.
Ire Works by DEP - Huge disappointment after the brilliant Miss Machine.
