fake jems and what 1 englishman thinks of singapore

Secondly, whatz all this talk abt "singapore confirm no production of fake guitars"? Therez a very high possibility and this kind of mindset is lethal. Correcting the so-called englishman just once would have been enough. And he did reply w/o any further bad intention. I dont see a point attacking again & again.

for a start, im not exactly a person who can be accused of overting loving my country

but i completely disagree with there being any possibility of fake guitars being produced here. if you're talking about mass produced fakes, requiring a production line, that would be utterly absurd. there's no such facilities here.
in the case of individuals creating fakes (parted out guitars, redecals etc), this might be possible of course, but i've yet to see any for myself, especially not for ibanez guitars. it simply isnt worth the effort given the relatively low price. fake fenders/gibsons etc would be more likely, and more common that you think

but yes true, jeremy's replys on jemsite were rather badly written and sound like a frustrated child IMHO.

I think that guy is having some kick there while irritating the hell of SGeans. Well, just a one-off thing, let's not get too jingoistic and affected.

I believe many others know the real truth. And he probably never even been to some parts of England.

well thatz what im talking abt. ofcourse "mass productions" of fakes is out of the question. Im stating that there is indeed a possibility, so thinking that THERE IS 0 CHANCE is not quite right - taking into consideration that an underworld also exists in a country as "genuine" & safe as singapore.

I don't think anyone should call that English dumb...he probably didn't know, that's all...don't be like that Taiwan S.O.B who called Singaporeans stupid...that Taiwanese should die.

the guy obviously made a wrong statement and is now trying to divert our attention. As for rude comments they are definitely wrong. Dun really think there is any point in this debate . You can't convince somone who is unwilling to listen

it's good to know that singaporeans are having a say in this matter instead of just keeping mum.

i had my say there (liberal interventions only, mind you), IMO there are enough proof to show that the individual concerned is a little disillusioned somewhat. he's a staunch believer in certain philosophies & this had blinded his good judgment, it's called fanaticism.

thanks again to all who trawled the very pages of Jemsite & updating us on this matter.

i gave up 2 days ago already, that guys crazy, even if we hire a lawyer on him, or get uncle lee to get him to apologise, still won't make a diff  , juz sit back and laugh at the other members attacking him can already,

anw thanx to all those who helped me defend our country, this is called social defense, so kudos to total defence

well the thread's been closed. So there's nothing u can do about now. Last i thing read was him arguing with a moderator

you're thinking way too highly of yourself. personally i thought the tone of much of your replies was too defensive, overtly sensitive and childish. thinking with your heart, not your head. if anything, it probably had the opposite effect of what you were trying to achieve...

I have to say that I agree with unsane.

I found the comments a tad bit childish as well. It would have been better and more appropriate to use reasoning and logic to debate the arguement rather than take the comments to heart. :)

the matter was put to rest already- hope we can make this a learning point. do we see such heated, stubborn exchanges here? not quite, yes? :smt109

yar probrably a bit childish, was late at nite when i made mi 1st reply, prob got carried away

anw i doubt this kind of ridiculous arguments will be found on soft in the future, coz singapore IS a small country, heehee

actually it's quite funny..

1) mr ang mor said, 'fakes are comin' from singapore'

2) we said, 'singapore don't make fakes'

3) mr ang mor said, 'i didn't say singapore made fakes'
