FGL bro, next time you buy cannot let Girlpants see. Can gadoh one. Hurhurhur...

it's like the elder brother slinky... tone exactly the same. the coating is only at 1,2,3 (E, B, G string) the rest is not.
the coating it's just okay, but cant beat Elixir or DR coating...IMO.
I used them b4, my palm is sweating so much... only 2mnths life in my guitar, then started to rust. Dont use fast fret or string cleaner to clean it, bcos it can peel off the coating..just wipe it with dry clothes.

bro moo5150 - thanx for the imput .... I will string em on this weekend - if really no big deal I go back to my normal ones

Just playing 5 nights a week I wish my strings could last longer...

Try DR regular strings. Dr strings are the only brand of strings i used which lasted more then a month and still feel fresh. Rest of the strings i use dies in 2 weeks or less. Try it out of course i recommend buying a Bottle of DR Liquid polymer they make your strings last even longer.

No... coating is on ALL 6 strings.

I like these... Softer tension, and sticky... Better grip for bends. Too bad they're too expensive though.

+1 to everly b52 bombers. I've got sweaty palms too and so far my prev pack lasted me for than a month.. only regret is I bought some .10s and i think .09s would do me more good.

You use a fresh set every night?

1 gig and those things will be dead as a door knob I expect, especially the bottom strings. I cant stand to play with strings that dont have that new string brightness. That's why I buy the cheap Slinkys and change every night if gigging cause having the expensive ones, for me, doesnt make an ounce of difference.

Thing is, with the titanium ones, they're no new string brightness acoustically to begin with. They sound dull when new. Thats the nature of the coating. But thru an amp, there's no difference between the slinky tone brand new, and the titanium tone brand new. And no, it doesn't go dead after one gig.

Especially the bottom strings. Don't let the acoustic tone affect what you'd expect from these things when all that matters is the resultant tone out of the amp.
