EBMM Music Stingray

Hi guys, i wanna get some comments on the EBMM stingrays.
Are all of their basses MIA? or they produce somewhere else like Indonesia as well? If its MII, are they differences in the sound quality?
Is it worth getting one that's MII? thanks =)

i think all Stingrays are made in the US.

the only stingrays that are made outside US are the discontinued stingray EX series, MIJ.

In the Bass Buy/Sell section, there is this guy selling EBMM4 for SGD 400. Do i smell a rat or can it be real? Comments anyone?

u looking at the $400 one currently in the buy n sell? frankly if its too good to be true, it probably is.

can't really tell if it's authentic. it's lost almost all it's vintage value since it's been refinished, refretted, pots replaced, etc. even the neck pocket date is gone.

also note that the basses are in jakarta, so there's no way to test it out.


@drumandbass: i've heard of that website before on talkbass, seems reliable.

This may be off topic but, I just came back from strolling around Sinamex. All I can say the ray is definitely a beauty. She really takes my breath away.
My next step would be to get a hold of one and try it haha!

From what i know, authentic EBMM Stingrays are all Made in USA.

and yes, you should get one.
