i spent abt 2.5k but thanks to my mum for sponsoring me cos she's the one wanted me to get a drivin license...it will be gd to take ur theory privately but ur prac under school...cos school haf a more systematic way of teaching u and gettin u ready for the TP...i passed my TP the first time with 6 points and i say...its really luck when it comes to main road drivin..cos u gotta draw lots for the test route outside...if u kena a bad route..den tts it liao...

:lol: Funny..my foreign cousins started driving at the age of 12, one of em at 8, and we're struggling with getting a license at 18. Well, lucky for me i had a headstart. The age requirement i feel is a lil too tough in our dear lion city, 16 would b good like Germany..sometimes there are situations when you may need to help out urgently with transportation and u can't afford to wait a few years.

take the morning slot around 8-9 plus.. where everyone's at work...
driving is easier..
pray that it rains so you can take your time..
and routes might be cut short..

Still cant find a slot for my retest. CDC does not seem to give out the slots people cancel! Omg how ah!

I just found out CDC only gives out the slots at a certain time. Which i dont know at all.

I haven't spent much so far, around $200 - 300. Just got my test date, 22nd Jan 08. I think if you want to get a faster test date, you need a private instructor to help you get those that pple cancel. I tried for a few months also and couldn't get those slots.

Anyway, my case is the kick ass case. I have Class 3, 4, 5 military license but since I was clearing my off and leave for 2 and 1/2 months before ORD, lazy to go back to camp to clock more mileage. So in the end, spend $$ again... Plain stupid...

So go ahead and kick moi arse... Wahahha
