Dragon Force

yea good! start another fan thread! DF kicks ass!!! :D

herman li is one fastass guitarist. so is sam :D

The first band that got me hooked on progressive/power metal! :D

Herman , Sam and Vladamir sure do compliment each other during solos.

My favourite songs are :

1) Through The Fire And The Flames
2) Revolution Deathsquad
3) Body Breakdown
4) Soldiers Of The Wasteland
5) Trail Of Broken Hearts
6) Valley Of The Damn

if i remember issit operation ground and pound or storming the burning fields where there is a slap bass solo

i was like 8O when i heard it :D

i enjoyed dragonforce at first. through the flames and the fire, body breakdown, trails of broken hearts, starfire blah blah, but then now i find them very very repetitive and very lame :(

I love DF!
I saw them in Melbourne during their Inhuman Rampage tour. All of them are so nice! Got my guitar and stuff signed by everyone, and Sam gave us 30 picks to split amongst overselves.

+1... all their songs are based around the same things... even the lyrics are hell similar... and alot of pentatonic scales, so it gets very repetitive and monotonous after awhile

goddamnit i was at the same gig...didnt know they stuck around..how did you meet them?

but i think inhuman rampage is e best album so far made by them, they've got songs in there dat suits e lead singer's vocal range so much more now. i rmb there are songs in e valley of the damned album such as Black Winter Night, e vocals totally CMI... hahaha... i couldnt stand listening 2 the chorus 4 more den 10 secs. gives me e chills...

but i like a lot of songs in inhuman rampage.

I have no idea why this band gets so much attention...its all just speed....great musicianship but seriously lacking in the songwriting department...Am not a real hardcore fan of this subgenre of metal but i think Sonata Artica and even Blind Guardian are much better bands....

Just my opinion...

isnt the name says it all? a force by a dragon..

i seriously think Stratovarius are way better, but one man terrorist is another man freedom fighter...in the end its still up to individual..

the drums for that stroming the burning fields song or something is just

O_O !!!!

but i think that musically, they're not the best around.

BLIND GUARDIAN!!!!!!!

NightFall, Mirror Mirror, Born in a Mouring Hall, Modred's Song, Bright Eyes, Majesty, Vahalla, Bard's Song, SO MANY!!!!!!

Then they came up with A Night at the Opera.

OH MY GOODNESS.

I never heard such... complex, thoughful and epic power metal before. Who needs distortion guitars in such a band? Just Hansi's vocals and its good enough.

lots of stuff, provided u have the knowledge[/quote]

those guys who know their stuff are still playing dungeons and dragons.. not playing metal

frankly, i think that Dragonforce are quite lame. No offense but they have nothing much in their ballsacks. They should have killed their singer long ago and replaced her with a more manly female.
