If you don't think so, you are NOT METAL ENOUGH! Either that or too much "in your ballsacks".

if i remember issit operation ground and pound or storming the burning fields where there is a slap bass solo

i was like 8O when i heard it :D

operation ground and pound i think

There is no slap bass riff or solo in Operation Ground And Pound.

Anyways Dragonforce did not have a bassist when recording Inhuman Rampage album. It was only until the release of the album that they decided to get a bassist.

Whatever bass parts of the song are done by Vladamir

I have to agree that most Dragonforce songs sound the same after a while and I guess mainly they are from the Inhuman Rampage album.

I tend to get confused with their songs at times , that's when I'm not looking at the title of the song in my mp3 player....

Operation Ground And Pound and Cry For Eternity sounds very similar....

Revolution Deathsquad sounds very similar to Storming The Burning Fields....

Soldiers Of The Wasteland sounds very epic and you could eventually visualise an entire storyline while listening to the song. I have to say the solo at the end of the song really portrays the chaos and madness when engaging the enemy in battle.

In fact the structure of their songs are most of the times the same. First it's Vladamir who will do a keyboard bridge with Herman or Sam playing some rhythem to "pump up" the song and then Herman and Sam will start the guitar solo

*agrees with shredcow on the blind guardian topic*
songwriting that provokes mental imagery beats random guitar solos anyday

That would be body breakdown

Yeah Body Breakdown but even so I don't the slap bass is actually made by a real bass. Sounds kinda digitalised to me....

Anyways that's one of my favourite song....

"Feel the breakdown down of my body , (just scream) set me freeeeeeeeee...."

I have no idea why this band gets so much attention...its all just speed....great musicianship but seriously lacking in the songwriting department...Am not a real hardcore fan of this subgenre of metal but i think Sonata Artica and even Blind Guardian are much better bands....

Just my opinion...

aiyo.......u can form a band play better den them then say la. alot of ppl try to cover dragonforce songs but screw up horribly.

Haven seen a local band cover them properly yet. Dathamonga tried but failed.

I love the band, but this video is just torture to the ears. Its a funny video, Sam falls down during the performance on stage early in the song, but it knocks his guitar totally out of tune and with all the harmonising him and Herman use in their music, you can guess how this video will sound

hahaha i was about to post that but you beat me to it. the drummer completely cracks up after he sees sam take the flying leap, trip over the bassist and fall like an idiot...

one bizzare gardening accident away from being spinal tap...
