I was asked this once by my school senior. His answer was because music influence. You watch TV, there's music. Imagine advertisements and dramas or even movies without music. There's music in clubs and pubs. Imagine no music their either but just pure noise by people. Those singers, bands will they be playing music if they are not influenced by it at first? That's basically what he said and I think it really make sense.

if the person influence by black metal then = negative way.. haha.. might BURN CHURCH ! like burzum ! haha

thanks alot guys!

go and do some serious research

being a songwriter has made me open my eyes alot more to the world around me to look at things with more perspective.

being a musician in a band has made me learn that it's not all about me, and that I have to work with other people to have a meaningful experience.

being in a band in the public eye, i've learnt (or am learning, rather) to think before I act be careful about what i say or do because our actions have consequences, and affect other people.

being in a moshpit, I've learnt that no matter who you think you are, you can be at the mercy of others.

having organized shows before, I've learnt that everything is easier said than done, things can and will go wrong, and you can never please everybody.

there are alot of life lessons to be learnt in being involved with music.

Do yourself justice in school, THEN play some awesome music. Then you'll be hella cool.

Don't neglect your studies. They'll help to pay your bills when you grow up. Being jobless, and potentially hungry and homeless with your guitar only looks cool in movies.

indeed! musicians are too cool for school!

let's all have a nice chat about Fenders and Gibsons, girls and Ferraris in the unemployment lane!

be responsible, guys =)

this is something you have to weigh yourself. putting up a poll and then doing your paper based on surveys..i don't think that's how it was intended to be done.

so listen to some music alone, read up a bit of history on music.

and THINK.

then, WRITE.
