DOD pedals..

i just bought a 2nd hand fx84 milkbox compressor, the old version, the one that has cream and pasteurization. like it alot, gives me the under the bridge kind of compression.

these pedals do have quite high resale value eh? i got mine at quite a high price.

very rare DOD pedals have much resale value.

hehe, prolly the only dod pedals that can have resale value or more expensive from the 70s and bigger enclosure, the delay, flanger etc. The rest will only have resale value when

1) Used by someone famous, eg, gonkulator

2) When someone who wanna buy it find that its worth paying much for it

Other wise, those dod from the 80s, 90s seldom reached the cult status of high resale value.

imho

misse gotten one of those, cheap build that one not too sure, but i remember the whole pedal weight is pretty heavy kinda like the tonecore pedals. I wonder what they put in there. Throw people confirmed will injured or at least paralysed.. :D

i have a couple of DOD pedals

DOD juicebox
DOD Milkbox
DOD Fuzz (forgot name, lent it away)
DOD Stero Flanger

And one more red distortion one that i gave away as well. I bought all these like...3 years ago.

i too a grunge fx69 from sweelee plaza sing years ago, my first pedal and didnt know anything bout guitar, he said i needed this to sound like a rock star when i bought my guitar and amp so i also bought. once in a while i;ll still take it out to use it. even bought the mini convertor for the adaptor. tough as hell still working perfectly.

I'm out looking for a milkbox compressor! Heard it's a real value for money.

Midnight; how do you find your milkbox? ever compared with other common comps?

hey reth,

The milkbox is pretty decent. I wouldnt say top notch but it does the job id say. Like every DOD pedal i own, i feel it has its own unique sound.

i've got a FX53 classic tube.just got it....

oh my.. is that the pedal with the in built tube?
i saw one at ebenex the other day..
tempted to buy it.. but i tried it with the wrong axe.. a high output humbucker ibanez..
i was turned off cause the overdrive became a distortion pedal.. -_-
im still wondering how it would sound on my axe though.. :?

The DOD Classic Tube doesn't have a tube in it...it's more like another TS clone. I started out so many years ago with DOD cos it was more affordable than a Boss. Being a student, budget was a main concern. My whole rig was DOD....Digital Delay, Stereo Chorus, Attacker, Classic Tube, Compressor Sustainer, Equaliser. If you see a DOD Attacker lying around at Ebenex's used section, that's mine. :)

dod pedal owners

i got an FX53 but i dont know what adaptor to use.do hit me back aye as im desperate to buy one already.just dont know which one thats all...
