*sigh*
young people nowdays..
IMHO, re-stringing on your own, it's like communicating with your lover, in my case, my mistress,
it's like foreplay, you coaxed her, caress her, gets her wet in the lips before you proceed to the main course-shredding,string bending or whatever it takes to reach nirvana/orgasm
in my kampung times,if you do not know how to re-string-you are the joke of the kampung. you learn the basic chords and re-stringing..its the basics..for a fixed bridge guitar. we learn kapok first before going to congress. after that, then consider PASS.
only then "geetar karan"..which is usually a strat-copy, mostly vantage brand
for FR bridge, during my "training" time, it's usually associated when a player have a certain level of skill..."wah..he macam Van Halen sey.."
we called shredding at that time...goreng..yup..like goreng pisang..because when you "goreng" its like you are frying the fretboard..
so..im still stuck at fixed bridge because I CANNOT GORENG...sad..very sad..
