heya.. just wondering Do you guys restring your own guitars?

If no, where do u guys head to and roughly whats the price like?

Lets share =D

Oh yea.. What strings u gusy recommend for a les paul?

I got a roadie who does it for me.

NOT!
of course restring the guitar myself.try curt mangan.does it for me!

Costs 10 bucks for the service..
There's no "best string" for an LP, nor is there a best set of strings on a strat, nor is there a best set of strings at all..
It all boils down to personal preference..

I installed a colony of little men in my guitar, to aid me. :)

Nah, it's really expensive, just learn to yourself, youtube has plenty of videos.

I'm loving my guitar too much.. dare nt restring her myself..

I guess i will.. hahaha

Any idea where got sell gibson strings? wanna try dem see..

They got one type wont rust one right..

I'm sure most guitar shops offer re-stringing services. Places like Davis, Guitar Connection?
Just head over to pennin.

dont buy those strings if you think the brand name gibson can do wonders.

Nope nope.. just thinking out of trying strings tt dont rust =.=

p.s I've got sweaty palms. lol.. Also. Where can i get those oil to polish up my rosewood fretboard?

Elixirs are long lasting strings, which costs 20 plus a pack..
Just maintain a strict discipline of wiping down your strings after each usage..

Curt Mangans strings, available at G77, are cheap and good..
I'm using DRs, but unfortunately, the Hi-Beam series is no longer shipped in.. I've reverted to their Tite-Fit/Pure Blues series.. DR strings are bright, and long lasting to me.. Available at Davis, it doesn't produce that "rubbery" feeling associated with EB strings..

elixirs works for me cos I have guitars that can be kept inside their bags for a nong nong time without being touched at all. Its nice to pull it out and yeah... still acceptable "new" strings.
