initially, i was neutral abt all these singapore idols etc etc. i felt it was pretty good that there was some effort to promote local music, the fact that it was a tiny-mite-shitty was overlooked in favour of the effort put in to organize the program. but eventually, after seeing more and more of the rot they were churning out.................................
anyway, i never did like "sly". like first and foremost, who the hell calls/will permit pple to call him "sly"? its a freaking bad attribute for goodness' sake 8O
second, theres something seriously wrong with his smile. lol. when i first saw his face, its like, (*%&#^$#^%$&%*& who the hell is this O.O
also, abt the guitar issues. like, a true musician doesnt need to how lian the price of his dumb zakk wylde guitar or what not. just take the damn thing out, play it well, and no one gives a shit abt the price tag. well, most musicians don't i think. i.e. if someone around from soft who plays damn well happens to use a cheaper brand, i doubt we'll care?
moreover, its reported in the newspaper, that he wore his dumb denim jacket for the whole day of shooting, thru-out the whole show. 8O that is downright wierd. no one in his right mind will wear denim jackets in singapore outdoors on a sunny day of filming.

and somewhere earlier mentioned that ah pek playing the Er-Hu at tampines? he rocks so much! so far i saw him play 2 instruments that virtually no one from our generation should be able to play, and he croons to the music too! (i don't understand what he's singing, but heck, hes good lol)
