i used to play guitar hero 2 last time.. the game was freaking addictive.. the only part which i hate was the loading screen.. it shows a slogan which says "A mini-fridge is more important than a bassist." wtf?

i always look at my pretty drummer as well when im playing.. eye contact haha.. then she'll smile at me.. then i'll smile back at her.. blah blah..

lol this thread's kinda funny. well i started out on bass and moved to drums cos me and my cousin had a competition. who's the better drummer gets to be the drummer. i won by a LONG shot. so he played bass.

but he didnt wanna practise. he told me he wanted to play guitar. he had a bass guitar, an acoustic guitar and drumsticks. AND the girls.

and i've witnessed how he turn down girls. i'f i were that girl, i'd bitch-slap him or something.

also i don't like it when people badmouth bassists. bassists, i think, are the MOST IMPORTANT member in the band. without bass, your sound sucks. seriously.

hmms not entirely true dude..haha.u have to play on to the drums and the guitars.bas is all about experimentation to get amazing tunes.creativity at its finest.haas.well if u tink bas shapes are kinda boring i dont think uve seen steve harris' unicorn model.but its true la its hard to get attnetion as a bassist.but hey man its all about the music.ha.slowly itll progress to other things..hehe

Take an example: - one day, If a bassist sick cant jam. Let ur band continue without bass. Next week u ask them how it the jamming without bassist. They mostly will say sound very funny.... Try ba.... lol

hey ever gone jamming and play a song whereby you can hear only the bass drums and the bass guitar?? well for me, i need the bass guitar to tell me where we are now cos i cant hear the guitars or the vocals. i'm the drummer by the way. so the other day we went jamming. our bassist didnt turn up. we played and there wasnt any bass. all i could hear was my bass drum. and i couldnt hear the guitars and the vocals. i got totally lost.
well yea i do know the song structure and all but all in all, what im trying to say is, without bass ____( can fill in whatever you want la) i'm out of words already. just woke up btw.

just try man. try playing a song and let your bassist rest for that song. listen.

i keep having to spell out the chord. and when you walk, there's usually some sort of groove to it. sometimes it lasts the whole song. so it's like a solo in 4/4 that lasts the whole song

saw tis little post while browsing, i'm from the keyboard section. I think bassist gets the girls. Look at Sting....... he's one bassist that get the gals. i think keyboardist and bassist that are under-rated.

the heart beat of a band must have bass and drum. dun have either one of tis, kantoi...........

i believe even stu hamm also got gals like man ( he is one ofthose dad's with big tummy playing bass, i dun mind having a dad like tat man........)
