do ALOT of singaporeans buy their local band music?

i guess nowadays a lot of people seem to be influenced by what others are listening to, rather than what they enjoy. Just because they hear a friend saying oh i listen to band XXXXX and they're really good. Thus they take anothers' opinion and use it as their own. but back to the topic of local scene. i think spreading the word is the way to promote music man.through friends. hold these concerts/gigs at more "teen friendly" places. open spaces. attract more crowd. listen enjoy.passion for music is what makes good musicians what they are today locking themselves up in their room and not going out for few years(eric clapton). hahaha- make music, not noise.
