Dirt pedal + boost?

Well, i play P&W and i use my JNH(sold for my eternity) and My deucetone rat(On sale as im dead broke).

I can cover hillsong-delirious-tomlin-kutless-Planetshakers-desperation band. anything you can think of. 4 chanels of gain. MADNESS. and endless fun.

on the other hand. my bro uses a JNH and a Hotcake.

oh yeah cool. does anyone have any like distortion + OD combos to reccomend?

Deucetone RAT
GT500(DIst+BOOST)
FD2 Mosfet(OD + Boost)

JNH is good.. its OD is modelled after a TS-type OD... so it shouldnt be very far off. my youth leader uses it too, very kick ass distortion type.
the MXR doubleshot distortion is pretty good too... tried it once at davis, but i guess 2 distortions = more versatility?

for a solo kinda thing, theres the artec soloist distortion... a few guys over at the ebenex forum said its a good tone generator, have not tried it yet though.

what are good dirt pedals? i mean like ones without boost and stuff. just your regular distortion pedals.

hm so ive narrowed my choices down to a modded ds-1 and the crunchbox. i think the ds-1 is cheaper? i dont know. i really like how the crunchbox sounds. I went to try my friends' today. pretty damn awesome.

threadstarter, i wanted to suggest this earlier, but do consider the fulltone line of "twin pedals" i.e to say the fulldrive, the mosfet edition, and the gt500. ive seen A LOT of church rigs from the US with it. no doubt worth a shot.

PLUS the modded bd2 which i heard is amazing.
