Hi...Opened this thread cause I wanna find out from all of you whoever
ya'll may be...Anyone know of an affordable stereo delay? I don't care
if it's digital, analog or tape...Just wanna know if it's stereo and if it's
not painful to the pocket...

Thanks alot...

Hmmmm...a little below 300 would be my budget...And I've tried Line 6 Echo Park...Everyone uses it...Don't really like it...Any other delays?

Hmm.

The Direct Out serves as a stereo out / seperator, or so a friend tells me. Actually I really should be trying it out myself...

DD-3's can't do the ping pong effect. If I'm not wrong the DD-6 can do it, and definitely the Echo Park can.

But down sides of the echo park is its bloody weight and unorthodox power consumption.

For me as far as digital delays can get, for price and quality all in one big umbrella of consideration, I'll stick with Boss. Perhaps the delays are what's keeping Boss alive nowadays...

digitech digidelay.. does the ping-pong effect and does it well.. costs less than 300 and you can get it at sweelee.. it's really versatile too! doesnt sound v metallic/digital like some other delays..

If 300 is the budget, you might as well save a bit more and fork maybe 350 for a DD20. It's got stereo delay, 4 presets + 1 manual, footswitch control option, a big ass LCD screen so you know exactly what tempo you're on, and a whole lot of other options.

The other big contender is the TC electronics NOVA delay. But that one's gonna cost a little more. Check out the pedalboard thread and see how many people are adding these 2 to their rigs. Definitely value for money.

Ibanez DE7, best delay for the money.

but for a budget of 300, I'd say Line6 Echopark or a used DL4
