comparison between fender MIA, MIJ, MIM e. guits

One thing to note is that most MIJ guitars are made of Basswood.

Popeye, may I know where you got this information from?

The ridiculous and immature comparison between countries of origin. Totally absurd. Why does this topic always pop up here?

First of all, Fender Japan does vintage re-issues, hence the 21 vintage style frets on a lacquered/glossy neck with a 7.25" radius. Why some people compare vintage re-issues with modern offerings, I got no idea. Some people like vintage re-issues, some don't.

Also, Fender Japan has its own range of cheapos, such as J-Craft Standard and "Vintage". Don't expect them to be good.

Fender Japan caters only to the Japanese market. It would be more prudent to buy directly from Ishibashi or Apollonmusic, instead of the local stores.

End of the day, you should just try the guitar and buy it if you like it. Period.

I did not misread your post at all. I don't mean to be a grammar police or a dictionary-thumper, but then...

Most -> "Greatest in number" or "In the greatest number of instances"

Let's look at the official Fender Japan's Stratocaster and Telecaster offerings now, shall we?

For Strats that are made of basswood:
ST-45, AST-65 and the 3 models that end with "US".
5 basswood Strats among 17 Stratocasters.

For Teles that are made of basswood:
TL69-85, TL-45 and ATL-70.
3 basswood Teles among 17 Telecasters.

Count how many MORE non-basswood guitars and tell us.
