chip offs

True true. Ahh, but sooner or later we'd get used to it. I remember once when I was sitting down, and I had to swivel the damn chair, what followed was the headstock banging into the cupboard.

Argghh. Heart ache.

They're not pretty, but they sure serve as grim reminders what NOT to do....

well if u would actually bother taking care of ur instrument none of this would happen. putting it in a proper stand, getting proper strap locks and also regularly checking to make sure the screws arent loose, not wearing bracelets on ur right hand when u play and not having long fingernails which would dig into the fretboard. Also another thing, some pple have those glossy tops and sometimes they polish and wonder y scratches appear. if u look closely sometimes rust from the strings and large dirt and dust particles land on the surface. makes no sense to polish ur guitar with all this crap and grime still on cos it would only damage the finish. what i do is use a static duster to dust the guitar down first den id give it a gd polish. and rem, dun use abrasive polishes.

You like my friend la, put a guitar on a chair .. Should've bought a stand .. it's really not that expensive ..

Pui, i got a stand at home la.
As i mentioned, i went jamming, then i came out of the studio.
As i need to pay for the money, i put the guitar on the chair then take out my wallet.
And as i turned...

Well, if you have to, it's always good to put your guitar up against a corner, so it has no other place to fall to, and always with the strings facing the wall. You don't want to put additional stress on the neck be resting it the other way up, the strings already do a good enough job of pulling on the neck.

Anyway, why put your guitar down, anyway? I strap my bass everywhere I go if I can be helped, but it's just too heavy sometimes.....

mine was like having pen knife to cut over the back of the guitar. 4 heavy lashes and millions of scratches at that patch because i was wearing that stut belt and wasnt aware of it until i polish my guitar!

now i have a mouse pad over the bad and still wearing that belt
