China's Fur Farm

have all the Paula's stopped yabbering and actually went out to do something?
Straight up now tell me!!

in Singapore, we come from relatively affluent background, we have the luxury of our ideals.

on the contrary these ideals are totally irrelevant to the people who are struggling to make a living. Infact, Peta might come off as a selfish organisation, imposing its ideals on to other people to look after the interest of the affluent and idealistic ones. It is as right as US introducing democracy to Iraq.

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." - Mahatma Gandhi

Haha! China may be a "great" nation...but till today, its moral is still in the pits. Those endless horror stories of what people do in China for quick profits are still darn amazing! It need not be animals only because even humans are not spared from cruelty either. For example, has the world forgotten the thousands of slaves found working in brick kilns so soon? A few culprits were arrested and the whole issue seemed to be swept under the carpet already.

As for PETA, I never like them too. Yep, it's a selfish organisation always seeking the higher moral ground and likes to shove their ideals down people's throat. It is mostly run by a bunch of vegans, who only see things their way and not other people's point of view. And they like to make use of celebrities (who can be clueless themselves) to endorse and spread their agendas.

Separating my garbage.
Sponsoring a cat.
Donating to CWS.
Not littering and cleaning up after myself in public places.
Not hanging wet laundry to piss off my neighbours below.
Taking good care of my 2 dogs.
Probably considering to volunteer with some dog society if I can find some free time, if not just donate.
I don't care about fur. Don't wear them and don't need em.

BUT

I use leather.
I WILL eat MEAT and lots of it.

Kurobuta and Wagyu are very special animals... and very tasty too.

oh just quit it.
regarding the video, i mean. the chinese could have done more.
like, kill the animals before skinning them. and after skinning them, they just throw it aside to rot.

well, the very least, the very least they could have done, is to kill the animals first then skin them and maybe consume the meat.

nevertheless, why use fur when you can use synthetic?

ask em chi chi fru fru couture fellas lor..... there is never a need for rationale in couture....

it's a symbol of man's complete domination over the animal kingdom. it's like saying to animals, hey look i'm wearing your fur, what are you going to do about it? hahaha!
also it's very nice
