China's Fur Farm

so what are u going to do to help the chinese fur farmers to stop their trade? i doubt they'll have a computer with internet access to see online petitions against them.

if u feel u need to do something, do help out with the auntie downstairs feeding the cats, or change lifestyle like xie shaoguang and run an animal shelter in jb.

games are games, and whether the prc govt is doing anything about stopping the fur trade, the farmers can always do it underground.

the problem is not them, its the demand for fur. so i would target industries which need fur, winterwear, fashion houses etc.

Anyway, feeding cats because you love cats is totally cool BUT what needs to be done is to neuter every single one of them to control the population of strays... thats the main objective.

I think the news has reported before that people who abuse animals would soon turn to abusing their fellow man. So if you ask me, both are wrong. Humans ought to stop violence and learn to respect both animals and our fellow man alike.

This is what we should do - bring this matter to light, in full detail, and encourage people to stop buying bear bile and animal skins. Fake animal skins can easily be obtained at cheaper, so let them know that.

No buyers = no profit. No profit = end.

well, u gotta fly to some ultra ulu place deep west of china and find a way to tell them in their local dialect. mr zhang and his family of 9 children are probably too busy trying to make ends meet.

not that i'm putting u guys down. i'm also against animal fur trading. but to kill off demand as well as raising the living standards of farmers and to make them consider that fur farming isn't profitable is quite an insurmountable task for you and i.

all we can do is to put this up on the net voicing our displeasure? you can always "think global, act local". so let's begin to do something.
 
all these killings will affect us more than anyone thinks, the most obvious one is of course that we will feel disturbed/haunted/emotional whatever. But in the long term (like really long), it will cause the wipeout of human anyway.

If any of those species (either sharks/dolphins/chicken/cow/snake/whatever) becomes extinct, it will cause a huge problem in our food chain. It would be too long for anybody to explain it over here, but it will eventually lead to the humans, and we will die, slowly, but surely. But the thing to be happy about is, it might not happen in this generation, maybe the next, or next next. Until we stop all the "unnecessary" killing or find a new way to feed humans synthetically.

i rmmbr the last gig i performed for, was in the aids of the riverkids project.
to stop child prostitution and trafficking. oh boy it feels sooo good to perform for a greater cause :)
