well, i have been extremely busy during this period cos i was attached to a parimary school as a form teacher.
Anyway, i'll be glad to share my small experience and limited knowledge to all.
bout the organising committee, is it confirmed? let's make a thread? on this? probably one of the committee members be a moderator so that we can have our details stickied down and the section be spick and span?
i would love to commit but i don't think i'll be able to. i'd probably just come to hang and chill with you guys.
Anyway, looking through this thread, i'm proposing that you guys do this:
1. Confirm the organising committee members for VHC and VH. those voted and volunteering must be serious and dedicated and firm.
2. Confrim 1/2 Venues for VHC and VH so there won't be much discussion about venue. Would appreciate if we could get a permanent reservation for at least till end of year.
3. Make rules/corrective order for all VHC/VH events eg. funding, logistics, budget, guests attendance.
4. (TRY) to get a moderator for this section so we can keep it tidy, sticky and limit important threads (committee members, venues, events for VHC and VH)
5. Person who is organising next session, allocated a few dates and do a poll. Then publish the results based on the date when most are available and confirm the event on that day.
i sound like i know how to organise things but i think i won't have time to commit. like i said, i'd love to but i can't. so maybe i'd just advise those who are organising.
