Truthfully, this is a case of imperfect information where the buyer failed to bridge the gap and obtain the necessary information. Do note that the very nature of a business is to earn and make a living..
The only shops that deserve to be boycott for such actions are those in Sim Lim Square.. Cheez.. Being cheated of 1k for a mere PSP is overboard.. And I've heard WAY too many first-hand and second-hand cases of people spending outrageous amounts since they are unfamiliar with technology..
