i dont like to flame people but i will keep it short cause i might save someone from being cheated, the guy that posted the les paul custom up for sale on soft is a scam,

heres the deal he said he bought it from ishibashi need to let go cause need to pay school fee and even ask me whether i am genuine buyer anot, he said he change the pups thought he did abit of routing since he said its p-90 ,

when we meet up to view the guitar there was no hard case, highlighted serial ,weigh less than 2.5kg, guitar pickups are p-90, kulson tuner on a custom, then he change the story oh he bought it from a guy for 1.6k not sure whether fake anot so i open the back panel for him and told him who i was and i am a collector. told him to close his ad at least but its still there.so just beware be smart guys just for ur info so u dont get cheated and waste ur time

I don't even understand a single thing...You got to put ' . ' and ' , ' in your senteces...Like this one....

Ya...??? :)

i tried hard to understand, but... it only made my headache worse.. but anyways, got ur point, some guy is a scammer. nothing new. thanks for the heads-up tho.

So the story goes like this:
A seller claimed to bought a Les Paul Custom from Ishibashi and he needed to let it go due to personal matters
So hub meets this seller, which comes without a hardcase, the serial number is highlighted in ink, the guitar weighs lighter then it should have and the pups were wrong.
Then seller admits he faked the story and he bought it from a guy. So hub checks it only to found out that it is a fake
So hub decides to tell other softies about this just in case the seller may be dishonest and try to scam someone.

am I right thus far?

true scam

Basically, those who intend to buy expensive stuff usually have some knowledge and with reference to this scammer, they really tot some people r easy preys.

We should start to publicly announce that they are scammer ........

Post ur views ........

We should join together to expose this type of people.

Pity those whom have fallen preys.

one of my friend actually encounter the same thing recently also, someone came over over and wanna trade a les paul custom with his prs tremoti 10 top and its a fake. I just double checked with him just in case its the same dude. Maybe its not a growing trend but definitely someone is going around doing it just to see whether they get lucky.

I propose to have a sticky thread at buy/sell section under "Scam Alert". We should post up the scammers details and photos (if any). Soft musical buy/sell forum is the best in Singapore, let's try our best to keep it clean from scams and cheats.

Told Hub about that Tremonti Incident. A guy wanted to trade his Gibson Les Paul Custom with My PRS Tremonti. He went to my place accompanied with a few friends. When he showed me his guitar, they were praising it like crazy (Clowns). Luckily I did my research to know that its obviously fake. So what I did is show them my guitar then asked the to leave.

Yeah..there are alot of scammers out there trying their luck to sell their fakes especially to the noobs, best is to view the guitar and have a feel of it.Gibson LP custom is heavy, almost 5kg and if you know your stuff you can tell the difference.

ive played a fake weighing more then 5kilos.
what i usually check out for, the bindings. its a telltale sign
