Haha I know what you mean. First time I got the ds-1, was like 'wow'! Then after awhile, it starts u on a search for that elusive distortion tone... sigh, the ds-1 was my downfall to gas. 8)

eh, where to get diff colored LEDs ar? i want to change the LEDs on some of my pedals to give it character! hahaha

open up the board

then take out the old one then replace back lor

just not that LED has positive and negative legs

if your LED doesnt work simply just reverse it

Hey Shredcrow, how much did you pay for your Skreddy Screwdriver? What kinda tone does it produce?I saw the Sdreddy Mayo at tonefactor.com, thought it rocks, wondering if it's availabe in Singapore?

nope, singapore dun have. u want skreddy u order online. and yeas the mayo sounds awesome but check out MJM fuzzes for fuzz that is like butter.

There are a ton of Screwdriver clips there.

The tone is a cross between a fuzz and distortion, towards the distortion side. Depending on your sharpness & gain settings, the SD can do medium overdrive to sustaining fuzz to hard rock riffing. Its VERY touch sensitive.. its almost scary.

Has a unique voicing. Made several vintage tone purists cringe. But i like it.

Essentailly, its my main drive.

GAS hit me hard 2-3 weeks ago. Ordered a Mayo to go with my screwdriver, alho Marc recommends stand alone usage.

the blackstar theres no word i can say more man... AWESOME!!!

its freaking versatile for that cute pedal with 4 knobs... the tone betweent two sides at 12 oclock is like two total different realms!

from old school to thrash...........................

i like both drive to be in fixed position then mess with the tone alone only

AND HELL ITS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

i havnt got the real chance to test it our properly because my whole set-ups is now at church

i only have one project guitar left now at home but still not properly set up so cant really say anything much

will update more when chained together with the rest and see how it blends

but man it sounds freaking awesome alone through my amp!!!!!
