Boutique Gear: When did you fall for them?

I think the Blackstone is on quite a different genre when describing a OD. The clipping structure and stuff like that is very different.

Maybe we should have a OD pedal shootout? :smt003
 
If by shootout you mean to see which is best, probably won't be useful. They are all totally different monsters.

If you wanna hear what each type has to offer, we're having a mini tone fest at NTU coming saturday, maybe you wanna join us?

To really know what a pedal can do you'll have to hear it with the band. Which also means it depends on what the other players are using. I haven't heard the blackstone with a band yet, so what i've described is mostly theory based on what I heard.
 
NTU is really far! Haha.

Maybe should find someone with a good clean amp, and probably just compare or even record some clips. I think that would be pretty neat.

I'll be coming for pasir ris after voting, shredcow from tampines and edo from bedok, so all about the same.

The thing is we have a tube amp and a jam room in ntu, so can play loud for as long as we like.
 
All im bringing to the mix is an SD1, crunchbox and a RC boost compared to shred and edo im nothign hahaha but i gt VC30 and key to the Jam room. =)
