Haha no lah, I mean $105 to watch the ting tings.. what the hell. I say anything more than $50-$60 is ridiculous for such a band.

Btw if ur a huge ting tings fan, i dont mean any offence to u personally.

all i can say its in life everything got butterfly effect........keep on downloading for free and eventually you just will transfer all that money you saved to the concert tickets ok? so for those of us who still buy music we suffer........

sigh.. DISSapointed with you guys lah! :(

Just because the band is not your taste, you complain bout the tix pricings... :(

I know you guys would spend $100000000000 just to catch your SlipKnot lah, Metallica lah... etc etc...

I guess its the market rate to catch overseas bands depending on their popularity here in Singapore..

i am amazed at the people who put down those who complain about the ticket prices. seriously, no offence but it's not actually cool to put down people due to their apparent ''Singaporean cheapskate not willing to pay money to see a band play live'' mindset.

firstly, even though i'm a fan of the Ting Tings, i honestly don't think a relatively new band such as that deserves their own concert at a venue such as Fort Canning. and at $85? bands like these play in clubs in europe for 15 euros ($30). sure, Singapore is a bit further away, but $85 is still quite ridiculous.

and considering the number of bands that have been hitting our shores recently, it's no wonder the kids are running out of cash. Stars (best seats for $148, also quite ridiculous), Manic Street Preachers, Angels and Airwaves, Prodigy etc.

so no, we're not stingy, it's just quite a bit of money promoters are asking for. (this post is not aimed at promoters)

right.even they ever played at both this year's summersonic&and lollapallooza,i think the ticket price's kinda high.last year i only spent like 12 bux(converted to Sin dollars) to catch yeah yeah yeahs while i was in beijing.
besides,a smaller venue's better imo,too.
but,still,i like this band.
and i wanna see CSS too.
