Best sounding Guitar effects - floorbased

yup got the tone lab...

few reasons:

distortions/OD sound more organic

2 expression pedals instead of one (wah/volume)

comes with free carrying case

easy to use.

bigger screen compared to XTL

although i didnt play the XTL as long as the tone lab SE... i heard some other ppl try it and they did get much better sound then i did... but i had much better luck in getting a nice tone from the tonelab se - even when i didnt know how to use it..

btw the tonelab is on sale now... 300+ i think... the SE is still $696 its a good buy man.

I have encountered many great pedals so far in my 5 years of my endeavour in guitar playing. Met many great distortion pedals too like the boss ds-1 blah. Eric johnson was the guitarist who inspired me to pick up the guitar at 11 years old after watching him in 3. since then, i have always been wating to attain his beautiful godly tone. dwelling into single coil strats and hollowbody guitars didnt get the tone. until i hear the tonebone classic distortion. Eric uses them now. It is very versatile, but not for metal or shredding stuff

Oh, awesome. Another Tonelab user! Congratulations and welcome to the world of the Vox Tonelab. It's not perfect but i still believe it's one of the best modellers out in the market today.
