Sungei road. B/W soup should be at Ayer Berseh foodcourt 2nd level. Perpetual long Q one issit?

That laksa, if you don't tell us which one is fake and which one is not then how would we know? I only know last time the one opposite LAB... Lim Ah Boy yes... don't laugh... he's a legend among the biker community... is the real one. And then was told that they shifted to the coffee shop facing Sim Lim Tower... but then the last time I went to that coffee shop there was no laksa and there's laksa opposite Lim Ah Boy aka LAB but it didn't taste that great but they have all the newpaper clipping and all that nonsense.

So tell me... help a laksa fan here out... where is the REAL Sungei Road Laksa?

Zhan Shan Mei Claypot Laksa at Depot Road was the bomb till the owner sold it to a PRC and then there was shifting here and there and nowhere. The current one at Ayer Rajah Market suckassssssss......

Fried wanton noodles at Sunshine Plaza pwns.
Mayflower Wanton noodles at Bras Basah makan center rocks too. A piece of prawn in ever wanton and its not even prawn dumplings.

1. BBQ chicken wing rice at Clementi Veri Nice coffee shop (near MRT).
*To date I have not found any comparable BBQ chicken wing even at the same franchise elsewhere.

2. Otah fish at Pagi Sore at Far East Square

3. Orh Nee (Yam paste) at Ju Chun Yuan (Fuzhou chinese restuarant) at Far East Square

4. Chinese Tze Char at a coffee shop at South Buona Vista road, near Pasir Panjang Village

5. Sandwiches at the sandwich shop at many town places such as Hitachi Tower (usually I don't like to eat sandwich, but this one is good)

6. Ma La Bian Mian at Formosa stall in Food Junction coffee shop (got other places, but I go Bugis Junction and CCK Lot 1, basement food court - the non halal one)

7. Portugese Egg Tarts at K-pie stall at Clementi, at the Clementi Party World ground floor near mrt, beside one handphone accessories shop. ($2 for 3 and so good that its so popular that almost everytime I go, it's fresh straight out of the oven).

8. My mum's fried chicken wing and her cooking in general (and my extended family also thinks so from the troops that flock to my place every chinese new year) besides the weird herbal soups she makes me drink. :D

for best Ramen - Miharu (Gallery Hotel)
Bak Kut Teh:
Sin Heng (Joo Chiat Road)
Forgot name (Balestier Road)

ahhh..... I find Miharu ramen ok but totally hate that bamboo shoots thing they add into their ramen. YUCKY!

is that BKT at Balastier called Founder Bak Kut Teh? Below New Orchid hotel and have TONS of celeb photos on the wall? Potent pepper soup BKT there...

Try the BKT opposite Central. Its a corner coffee shop. Pretty good BKT IMHO.

Sunshine Plaza wanton noodle is the best, must eat with green chilli. Brought my parents there once.....Well my father said that this type of wanton noodle is Malaysian style, soak in black soy sauce.

yup... the wanton mee in Batu Pahat actually have "lor" gravy poured over it.

There's a dark sauce wanton mee at Desker/Syedalwi/Dunlop St whatever... can't remember that is famous and is quite highly rated but the open for lunch only... never ever did get a chance to try it. Give up already.
