IF you wan all in 1, get a roland cube 30. For Randall get the RGT50 or something. Not keen on the othere 2 though.

even the noise gate in PODs are superb.

but you can definitely add a noise gate to any amp, just use a... noise gate? 8-)

wow so much for asking help at soft.you should not judge anyone as a retard cause they ask so much.moderators should look on this and eradicate such attitudes.

ive had these questions too. and the similar models of amps too.

maybe u can do a search for similar threads?

summary of what i collated(correct me where im wrong, ppl)

marshall-good onboard dist. but the cdr model wasnt recommended
roland cube-more variety of onboard dist
line 6-built in effects

i was recommend vox pathfinder 15r when i asked for good cleans coz i use pedals for dist.

still, do a search ok?

Actually I feel that Faizalhacker needs to understand that his tastes and other peoples' differ, because everybody is different. As I've said so many times, try them all out and decide which one you like best.

That said, the issue about 'better' does apply. It applies to reliability, value for money (e.g. the features). Take note that Marshalls and Randalls are aimed more at hard rock / metal players so while there's a great range of distortion level, the cleans won't be as nice as perhaps a Fender twin reverb. Again, 'nice' is subjective, some might prefer Marshall's clean tones to a Fender's. I personally prefer Visual Sound because they're devoid of effects so would go more worth it for use with a pedalboard or a multi-effects processor.

i think you're just plain retarded because you seem to like hogging attention on soft . FAGGOT

And yeah, I think calling someone 'retarded' followed by 'faggot' really takes the cake. Everybody was a noob at one point, and probably need help for the moment because they don't have enough experience to tell the differences between certain gear, etc. Your statement shows two blatant characteristics: ARROGANCE and IMMATURITY. Sorry if I'm being too direct, but we really don't need immature people, least of all on a thread like this when advice on gear is needed.

One more thing: 'hogging attention on soft'... So all softies should have a limited maximum number of posts?

Fender's clean is 'nice' because it's voiced to be different from the rest of the big names in amps. it has been around for some time so there is a strong following of what a Fender clean has to offer. Marshall's DSL401 has a superb clean as well but if one sets Fender as the standard, this may be deemed as 'not nice'- relativity at work.

nvm guys..goin to get a zoom g2 soon...so i guess i stick to my amp first...thankz to those kind hearted replies and HATERS!!

Well it is true that you're evidently not doing enough research on your own, instead hoping to be spoonfed..
And its quite obvious that you don't intend to learn and change your methods..
People always say that you get what you pay for..
Now I'll say you get what/how you react..

i think that randall amps sounds great..

roland cube is nice too..

this depends on where(place's) and the type of music u're playing..

just an opinion..
